Schools that embrace the concept of distributed leadership, as manifested by broad communication and high utilization of MMP resources, are better positioned to realize school-level achievement goals. The MTL and MTS are key actors within schools-the extent to which these individuals can inspire the development of distributed leadership in their schools is likely to be a key driver in helping schools demonstrate improved results.
